• Orders of $49 or more: Free Standard Shipping
• Orders under $49: A 5 USD flat rate will apply

ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are usually processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days.

Please note that processing times may be slightly longer during:
• New product launches
• Major sales or promotional events
• Holidays
• Periods of unusually high order volume

If your order includes a special request or requires additional preparation, processing may take longer. We will do our best to keep you informed if there is a significant delay.

Return & Exchange Policy

At Yarra Design, we want you to love every piece you receive. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review the policy below before requesting a return or exchange.
RETURNS

We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery.
To request a return, please contact us at yarradesign.au@outlook.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.
To be eligible for a return, items must:
• Be unworn and in original, saleable condition
• Show no signs of damage, wear, perfume, makeup, or other use
• Be returned in the original packaging
• Be accompanied by the original order information
• Be returned within 14 days of delivery
Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused and returned to the customer.
Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We do not provide free return labels for returns due to personal preference, change of mind, or incorrect selection.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part or the item was faulty.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process the refund to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed after the return has been approved. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For hygiene and product-specific reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
• Earrings and other pierced jewelry
• Personalized or customized items
• Sale / final-sale items
• Mystery, Lucky Scoop, or surprise-based products once opened or used
• Items that have been worn, damaged, altered, or show signs of use
Because our Lucky Scoop products are mystery-style products, specific designs, colors, sizes, or individual pieces cannot be guaranteed or exchanged based on personal preference.
EXCHANGES

We accept exchange requests within 14 days of delivery, provided the item meets our return conditions.
Customers are responsible for the shipping cost of sending the original item back to us. Once the returned item has been received and approved, we will ship the replacement item according to our available inventory.
If the replacement item has a different price, we will contact you regarding any price difference before processing the exchange.
Earrings, personalized items, customized products, sale items, and opened mystery/surprise products are not eligible for exchange.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

We carefully inspect our products before they are packed and shipped.
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible at yarradesign.au@outlook.com and include:
• Your order number
• A clear photo of the item
• A clear photo of the packaging, if the package was damaged during delivery
• A brief description of the issue
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can investigate the issue and provide the appropriate solution.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty or damaged before use, we may offer a replacement, refund, or other appropriate solution depending on the circumstances.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper use, or damage caused after delivery are not considered manufacturing defects.
UNDELIVERED OR RETURNED PARCELS

If a parcel is returned to us because:
• The customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address
• The customer failed to collect the parcel
• The customer refused delivery
• The customer failed to pay applicable customs duties or taxes
• The courier was unable to complete delivery for reasons attributable to the customer
we will process the refund after the returned parcel has been received by us.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable in these circumstances. If the actual shipping cost incurred by us exceeds the shipping fee originally paid by the customer, the applicable shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.
If you would still like to receive the items after the parcel has been returned to us, a new order and new shipping fee may be required.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For international orders, customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for paying any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Customs policies and charges vary by country and are outside of our control.
If an order is returned because applicable customs duties were not paid or because of an incorrect address provided by the customer, the original shipping cost will not be refundable.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS

We process orders as quickly as possible. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it.
Once an order has been processed, packed, or shipped, we may not be able to cancel it. In this case, the order must be handled according to our Return Policy after delivery, if eligible.
Personalized, customized, mystery, or made-to-order items may not be eligible for cancellation once production or preparation has begun.

We accept a variety of secure payment options through Shopify Payments, including major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay,Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

Many of our customers choose to send our handcrafted pieces as thoughtful gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, or simply as a “thinking of you” surprise.

If you'd like us to include a handwritten card, just leave your message in the “Order Note” section at checkout.

We’ll carefully write it for you and make sure your gift is wrapped with extra love.

BRASS BASED
Brass products will naturally tarnish over time but this is not a fault in the product.

These products are not resistant to water, moisture or sweat.

To keep your items in top condition, you must handle them carefully.

STAINLESS STEEL 
Stainless Steel Jewellery a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% chromium content by mass and a maximum of 1.2% carbon by mass. 

Stainless Steel has a naturally high resistance to tarnishing and rusting.

These products are water resistant, but as with any jewellery, it is best to avoid contact with chemicals to maintain their shine.

Please note that the color tone of stainless steel products is slightly darker than that of sterling silver products.

If you want to buy longer-lasting products, please choose stainless steel products.

STERLING SILVER

The best known precious metals are gold and silver.

Silver has a softer structure compared to many mines. Having a soft structure makes it difficult to process in various designs. In order to give silver a hardness that can be processed, it must be mixed with various metals such as copper.

925 Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.

Silver is a precious and gentle material. Please take care of these products.

When you are not using silver products, we strongly recommend that you keep them in a closed box away from light.

When not in use, silver that is exposed to air, moisture and sunlight loses its originality over time.

Tips for longer lasting jewellery:

Jewellery will eventually tarnish over time when involving metal that is gold plated & silver plated . Avoiding contact with the following can slow the tarnishing time & keep your jewellery looking new; 

• Keep away from soaps, perfumes, and chemicals. 

• Clean with a soft cloth. 

• Store in a dry place. 

• Take it out while sleeping, taking a shower, in the pool and in the sea.

• Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when dressing.
